“One of my friends asked me if I cried. My honest answer is I do not know, I felt something like I have never felt before, to which he replied,
“you were thinking you’ve never felt so alive but also want to die. Quite the conundrum”
That extract is from the article I wrote after my 24 hour run around a 400m track in November 2019.
I have thought about the phrase: “you were thinking you’ve never felt so alive but also want to die. Quite the conundrum” for hours on end since my buddy sent it to me.
Some days it makes me feel emotional. Some days it makes me feel the pain I was in. Everyday it makes me think about life and the challenges I do but above all I know he is so right, I have never felt so alive.
What are you doing in your life to feel “alive”?
