Maintaining a positive mindset

Mindset, mindset, mindset.
Positive thinking, positive thinking, positive thinking.
These are two things that are bounded around these days as the cure for pretty much everything.
“Not doing to well at work……maintain a positive mindset.”
“Not losing that weight….stay positive it will happen.”
“Not able to get up for the gym…….fix your mindset.”
Well it’s hard, and for many it’s super hard and I appreciate that, and at the end of the day no matter how positively you think that does not get you what you want in life, it’s actions, it’s doing and that’s physical not mental.
So how do we get this thing called mindset fixed, how do we keep our thinking positive?
It’s my personal belief that the answer is rooted in self awareness. (Hop quickly back to one of my most read posts’ Who are you and why are you here’) A strong mindset and positive thinking starts with understanding who you are and what you want from this life. It’s deep, super deep, it’s going to take some thinking on your part but once you figure that out the impact on so many areas of your life is huge.
When you have your “ducks in a row” the moments of doubt, the moments of weakness diminish. Why? Because you are focussed, you have identified and then bought in to your goals, you understand the process, the sacrifices you have to make and above all the benefits and happiness that your goals are going to bring you.
Just imagine never ever waking up and not wanting to chase your dreams no matter what they are…..you just wake up every single day ready to go and get them. That is mindset, that is a positive attitude and that is rooted in the clarity of what you want from life and what you are willing to do to go and get it.
Get that right and I promise you life will change and you will dominate.
Thanks for reading.

That is powerful. I’ve heard any one of a number of motivational talks but never have I seen such a strong message put forward so clearly and concisely. Brilliant.
